CARBIDE
*Specially produced to be higher quality than other carbide bits manufactured
*Cobalt distribution and micro grain tungsten carbide are are closely controlled
to produce the highest density carbide tip available, and consistently produce
more holes than other bits.
*The carbide tips are molded to the specific ANSI size.
*These tips stay sharper longer and deliver more holes than many other bits
on the market
BRAZING
*All bits 1 1/2” in diameter or smaller utilize copper alloy to braze the tips
into the steel without flux. This special brazing alloy is heated to 1400
degrees Fahrenheit in state of the art vacuums ovens to provide a strong
braze without voids. A permanent bond is insured between the carbide tip
and the steel on the critical base area as well as the faces of the tips.
*The high melting temperature of the copper alloy means tips stay in place
and can take the abuse resulting from high heat applications. |
