This is a 2" wide by 100' black vinyl P.V.C. tape. It has a super track adhesion for extra holding power. It is used a lot by the underground pipe constractors to protect iron steel pipe from corrosion due to high acidic or "Hot Soils". It is also used to protect P.V.C. pipe from corrosion due to ultraviolet rays in above ground installations. This tape is also used in the oilfield industry to wrap above and underground pipes to prevent corrision due to the high methane levels in the soil around oil fields.
SPECIFICATIONS:The tape is available in both 10 & 20 MIL thickness. Some users will be required to use only the 20 MIL to meet the job specifications.  The 20 MIL is thicker, heavier and will last longer under adverse conditions. Pipe wrap tape is used by mobile home installers, sprinkler system installers, some electricians, oil fiels workers and plumbers.
